One nice new feature on iPhone 3.0 is subscription calendars. Lots of people on the interweb have already created calendars for popular events. These are available as ICS files. Example below is the fixtures for the current British Lions Rugby South Africa Tour 2009. Once you have found a link to the calendar (web address) just select it and you will be asked to subscribe to the calendar. Now you can view the events in your calendar – easy!
The alternative way to add a subscribed calendar is the manual method using ‘Add Account’ (Settings –> Mail, Contacts, Calendars), select ‘Other’, you can then type in the link to find the calendar.
